Lilac & Pink Wedding

Gemma and Andy chose a gorgeous mix of flowers in shades of lilac with baby pink and cream/ivory for their late summer wedding, with decorations and other accessories to match. Flowers included some gorgeous mauve/lilac hydrangeas, which are great flowers to use at this time of year, as well as roses, carnations, scented freesias and touches of dainty white gypsophila to lighten the effect.

The wedding took place at the Haycock Hotel, with the beautiful grounds making a lovely backdrop to the wedding photos on this gorgeous sunny day. I'm very grateful to Gemma and Andy for letting me share some of their fabulous photos - and thanks too of course to Jim Donnelly (Jim Donnelly Photography)!

The bridesmaids wore dresses in a gorgeous shade of lilac and Gemma wanted to pick this colour up in the flowers, as well as other shades of lilac, lavendar, baby pink and cream. The designs she preferred were neat in shape, but full of flowers and different textures - gorgeous!
