Gallery: Alice & Bav

Alice and Bav chose a gorgeous colour palette for their early summer wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns – dusky pink roses with foliage in shades of green and grey, mixed with other flowers in white/ivory and touches of gold in the decorations. This lovely couple described their preferred style as ‘classic English vintage’ and the combination of dusky roses and gypsophila certainly fitted the bill.

Alice particularly loved those gorgeous deep Amnesia roses, which she chose for her bouquet and they looked perfect with her colouring. Her bridesmaids carried simple posies of massed gypsophila, which work so well for that vintage look.

To create a fabulous feature design for the wedding ceremony and barn reception area I mixed dusky Amnesia and Mentha roses with delphiniums, peonies and Alice’s favourite lilies – a display like this is always worth having if you can use it throughout the day.

For the table centrepieces Alice and Bav chose to have unstructured designs featuring plenty of trailing foliage for a natural look and including more dusky roses and gorgeous personalised candles on gold stands. The main barn looked stunning once everything was in place.

I hope you enjoy looking at some of the photos from a fabulous day and my thanks to Alice and Bav for allowing me to share some of their amazing photos taken by Magda Kuczmik (magdak.co.uk), as well as a few of my own snaps. Thanks to you too Magda!
