Gallery: Gabriella & Jaime

Simple colour schemes can be so effective and I just loved the effect of the royal blue and white flowers Gabriella and Jaime chose for their wedding, which worked perfectly against the navy blue of the bridesmaids' dresses and the men's suits. Such a lovely fresh look for a perfect late summer day!

The wedding took place in the beautiful gardens at The William Cecil, Stamford, and the couple were lucky enough to enjoy an outdoor ceremony in the wedding pavilion, which only needed an arrangement of white and blue flowers to provide the finishing touch. After enjoying time in the sun with family and friends, the wedding party moved to the marquee for the wedding breakfast, which had been decorated with striking navy chair sashes and jars filled with blue and white country flowers. Log slices, jam jars and handfuls of pretty country flowers gave a rustic look to the tables - perfect for a countryside setting.

I hope you enjoy seeing some of the flower designs from a beautiful wedding and my thanks go to Gabriella and Jaime for allowing me to share some of their professional photos with you (as well as a few of my own snaps of the flowers). My thanks also to their fabulous photographer Peter Blanchflower - do pop across to his website to see more of his work...

Many congratulations again to a lovely couple!
